Our Spiritual Focus
The original founders of Elim Village grounded their vision in Christian faith. The resulting statement of faith, mission statement and vision statement have become foundational documents in the development and operation of Elim Village.
Everyone involved in the community – residents, employees, volunteers, service providers – strive to conduct all their interactions in accordance with Christian values. These bonds of faith unite and strengthen a large community.
A full-time pastor and a trained volunteer pastoral care team organize Sunday morning church services, concerts and hymn sings. Upon invitation, they offer prayers, guidance and support to residents and families, especially during times of crises. They also provide support to staff about moral and spiritual issues these professionals encounter.
Elim Village welcomes everyone. While respecting the rights of all persons to their beliefs and religious practices, this community offers hope, compassion and care in a Christian environment.
